An alien spacecraft lands on the Vanguard asteroid. It is quickly attacked and crippled by the inhabitants. The vessel’s power system, warp drive and gravity plating are all captured intact. Study of these systems will allow the “Vangar” inhabitants, who refer to themselves as the Neyel, to reproduce the technologies over the following decades. [4]
