Thasians are a non-corporial life form with powerful psychokinetic abilities. When a Federation ship crashed on their planet the only survivor was a young child, Charlie Evans. To enable him to survive the Thasians granted him their powers. [2]

When he was rescued he found it difficult to fit in to human society, having little experience with other humans. Eventually, he started using the Thasian powers to change things that upset him. Eventually, the Thasians realised he was no longer on the planet and tracked him down. They took him back to the planet and restored all of the people and events that he had caused to vanish. [2]
