A human girl and the only survivor of the USS Peregrine when it crashed on Valeo Beta V. She had been rescued earlier by the crew of the Peregrine when she was discovered on an M class planet, together with an Orion and a member of DITL Species 1222, who'm she had named Buckley. [1]Oriana had a very strong survival instinct and had hidden from the Gorn that had attacked the ship when they hatched from the Orion. She also hid and survived from those that later erupted from Buckley. [1]La'An Noonien-Singh took Oriana under her wing and took a leave of absence to find her family eventually managing to track them down. [1] She met with Doctor M'Benga and Nurse Chapel again in 2259 on Cajitar IV. [2]
