A male Majalan and farther to the next "First Servant". When it came time for his son to take up the post he had second thoughts and attempted to kidnap the child altering his brain to make him unable to operate as part of the machine. This would have caused the machine to fail and the platforms that the Majalan lived on to fall to the planets surface, which was largely covered in lava and acid lakes. Gamal found this a better alternative than the slow painful death is son would have been subjected to if he became a part of the machine. Ultimately, he failed to save his son and vowed to help prevent the next "First Servant" from ascending to the post. [1]
