A Federation citizen, Erin was something of an amateur explorer. In 2357 she set off along with her husband and daughter to investigate rumours of a species known as The Borg. Although she was successful in discovering the Borg and learning much about them, Erin and her family were ultimately assimilated after the Borg became aware of their presence. [1]
