A Vulcan doctor, Yuris attended the inter-species medical conference on Dekendi III in 2152. He was one of those who discovered that T'Pol was suffering from Pa'nar syndrome. Yuris was sympathetic to T'Pol as he was himself a mind melder, the group most susceptible to the syndrome. Yuris gave T'Pol classified information regarding the treatment of Pa'nar. When she faced dismissal from service with the High COmmand, Yuris revealed that she had been forced to engage in the meld through which she contracted the disease. In the process he revealed his own status as a melder, and was subsequently recalled to Vulcan. [1]
