A Terran slave who joined the rebellion, the mirror Bashir was an arrogant and rather hot-headed character. [2] He became Jadzia lover after the death of the mirror Sisko, and the two helped the rebels keep control of Terok Nor by fighting a delaying action against the Alliance forces heading for the station and thus giving the rebels time to get the Defiant ready for action. [3] Bashir was greatly irritated when Jadzia was killed by the alliance in 2375. [4]
