A proto-Vulcan living on the planet Mintaka III, Liko's wife died in 2365. He was injured in an accident at the hidden Federation scientific research outpost on the planet; Liko was treated aboard the Enterprise-D where he saw Captain Picard. The experience prompted Liko to become a believer in the supernatural. [1]
