James T. Kirk from an alternate timeline where Khan did not rise to power and start the Eugenics War. He was transported to the prime timeline, in the year 2022, by a device given to La'An Noonien-Singh. She had obtained it from an agent of the Federation Temporal Investigations department, who was mortally wounded. Unable to return to his own timeline he agreed to help La'An prevent a modification to the prime timeline, even though it may have cancelled out his timeline. [1]He and La'An visited a Pelia from that time. She was running a shop called "The Archiology Department" in search of a method of tracking a cold fusion reactor. She was able to provide them with an Antique divers watch with flouressent hands and numerals. La'An realised that his would glow in the presence of Tritium produced by the rector. [1]Later in 2259, when the USS Enterprise encounter a subspace fold, La'An would think back to her time with Kirk in 2022. [2]
