Ensign Brackett was an officer assigned to the USS Enterprise in 2258 of a the Kelvin alternate reality. She manned the communication station when Kirk, Spock and Uhura departed on the K'normian trading ship in search of Khan Noonien Singh. She reported the loss of their signal but wasn't aware of the cause. [1]
