In an alternate reality created by Captain Christopher Pike when he prevented his life changing accident. Targan was the the uncle of the Romulan subcommander on the Bird of Prey that attacked the Federation outposts along the neutral zone in 2266. The Romulan commander of the vessel said he had served with Targan during the Reman campaign. [1]The subcommander had thought Targan death a great victory.
