Male android. One of a series of androids made by Bruce Maddox and Altan Inigo Soong. Flower made first contact with the Federation ship USS ibn Majid in 2390 in the remote Vayt sector. All proceeded well and they were beamed on board, where they had a meeting and enjoyed food.
During the meeting however, the head of Starfleet security issued a black flag directive instructing the ship's captain, Alonzo Vandermeer to kill Jana and the Ambassador, or face the destruction of his ship with all hands. Vandermeer obeyed, killing both with a hand phaser. [1]
