She escaped Earth on the SS Botany bay after the Eugenics Wars with Khan, and was discovered in space by the USS Enterprise in the 23rd century. [1]Like all of Khan's people, Kati would have died either on Ceti Alpha III or in the destruction of the USS Reliant. [2]
