A Vulcan, Kov was one of the V'tosh ka'tur which Enterprise encountered in 2151 whilst exploring the Arachnid Nebula. He was fascinated by Humans despite several misunderstandings concerning their culture. Kov had little contact with his father as a result of his lifestyle, but Commander Tucker convinced him to re-establish contact during his visit. [1]
