Sakonna was a member of the Maquis, and in 2370 she bought a supply of weapons for the terrorist organisation. [2] Quark acted as an intermediary for the sale, but was quick to betray Sakonna when he was caught. He subsequently managed to convince her to betray the Maquis. [3]
