A Romulan, D'tran was a member of the Romulan Senate in 2265. He was present for the meeting in which the loss of the warship Bloodied Talon was announced, and questioned whether the ship had been lost in combat or destroyed by Captain Sarith. D'tran was an aged man by Romulan standards, well over a century old. As a young man, he served aboard a ship which had made one of the first contacts with a ship from Earth. Very little information was gathered on that encounter. [1]
