A Vissian, Veylo was a tactical officer aboard the ship which the NX-01 encountered in 2153. She struck up a friendship with Lieutenant Reed, and the two enjoyed learning about the cultural differences between them. Veylo liked the smell of cheese and found the NX-01's tactical systems to be quaintly old fashioned compared to the systems on her own ship. [1]
