Wanderer

TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Wanderer [1]
Species : Shedai

A member of the Shedai leadership, called the Serrataal, the Wanderer was the first of the Shedai to awaken from their long sleep in 2265. She was greatly angered at the presence of what she thought of as "lower" life forms on the planets formerly inhabited by her people, and resolved to awaken the rest of the Shedai to deal with the intrusion. [1]

The Wanderer subsequently launched attacks against both the Federation research team on Erilon, where she caused considerable damage and loss of life, and the Klingon colony on Palgrenax. There she caused great loss of life, but the controlling the sentinels she was using in the battle overtaxed her and the presence of heavy Klingon disruptor weaponry and fire from a Battlecruiser in orbit turned the battle against her. She responded by destroying the entire planet. [2]

Eventually she succeeded in waking the other Shedai, and together they destroyed the Klingon and Federation colonies on Gamma Tauri IV with great loss of life. Commodore Reyes responded by ordering the USS Endeavour to implement General Order 24 against the planet, obliterating the entire surface. [2]

The Wanderer violently opposed the Apostate's view that the Shedai should give up their attempt to regain their former power. Even as he proved victorious in the short civil war which followed, the Wanderer refused to give up her cause until the very last. The Apostate cast her out from their First World, depositing her on a far distant lifeless planet. Even then, the Wanderer resolved that she would gather the energy to launch herself between stars without the assistance of the conduit system, to take revenge on the "lower races". [2]
