Lieutenant Commander Dealt was a Starfleet officer who worked on a Federation medical station in 2365. He worked with extremely dangerous plasma plague samples, and was in charge of transporting a set of samples aboard the Enterprise-D in this year. The samples nearly broke out of their confinement system due to the influence of Eichner radiation from an alien lifeform aboard the ship, but fortunately this was avoided. [1]
