Doctor Ramirez was a human female who lived in Los Angeles in 2024. She ran a clinic helping poor locals who couldn't afford medical treatment, either financially or because they were undocumented aliens. She was divorced and had a son called Ricardo. [1] She became romantically involved with Rios. [2] When Picard was run down by Adam Soong and ended up in a coma, Rios and the team took him to Teresa's clinic seeking medical help. [3] Rios eventually decided to remain behind in the 21st century to be with Teresa and her son. Rios died many years later, in a bar fight. Teresa eventually died of old age. [4]
