A Human male, Spires was a defense attorney for the Starfleet Judge Advocate General's office on Starbase 47 in 2266. During that year he represented Commodore Diego Reyes, who judged him to be a good man, very committed to the case. Nevertheless, Reyes eventually fired Spires in favour of Captain Rana Desai. [1]
