A Human Starfleet officer, Gannon was the Captain of the Miranda class USS Bombay in 2265. The ship was assigned to Starbase 47 (Vanguard) in the Taurus Reach. During that year the Bombay was delivering supplies to the Starfleet outpost on Ravanar IV when a fleet of six Tholian cruisers attacked. Although massively outnumbered, Gannon put up a spirited defence and destroyed four of the six attackers before her ship was destroyed with all hands. [1]
Before her appointment as Captain, Gannon was the first officer of the USS Dauntless under then-Captain Diego Reyes. [1]
