Encountered by the Enterprise crew when she arrived at Starbase Yorktown in 2263, Kalara claimed that her crew had been stranded on a nearby planet when their ship crashed there. She led the Enterprise to the planet on a rescue mission, where it was attacked and destroyed by Krall. Kalara claimed Krall was forcing her to do his bidding in luring the ship to his planet, but in fact she was a willing accomplice in plans. She was killed when Captain Kirk dropped the saucer section of his Starship on her. [1]Unknown at the time, Kalara was in fact Jessica Wolff, a Human Starfleet officer during the early 2160s. She took on the appearance of an unknown alien as a result of using the life extension technology discovered on Altamid. [1]
