A citizen of the Varro multi-generation ship encountered by Voyager in 2375, Jippeq was distrustful of outsiders and reluctant to accept Voyager's help with repairs to his ship's warp drive system. He also opposed that faction of the population which favoured dividing the generational ship so that some of the population could engage in a program of exploration. He suspected Harry Kim of involvement with the rebels because of his romantic involvement with Tal. [1]
