A resident of terra nova, Akary was a Human but did not consider himself to be part of Human culture after the long seperation of his colony from Earth. During the NX-01's visit to the planet in 2151, Akary was trapped in a pit that was filling with water. He was rescued by Captain Archer, an act which helped the Captain to establish communication with the Novans. [1]
