Hope its as good as it looks - Robert Downey Jr is quickly becoming one of my favourite actors.

Looks like this might outdo the first one...

Ok, coolest seen (as in the nerd in me jumped for joy) was seeing Iron Man and War Machine working together.

I can't wait.

Its a shame Howard is gone. I think he had the right personality for the character. Don't know how Don is going to run with it.

Any movie where you get to beat up on Micky Rourke has GOT to be fun.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

Funny, he didn't feel like Rhodey to me.
In the comics, Rhodey seemed... tougher, and howard doesn't give that impression.

I'm not sure about Don Cheadle either though (probably comes from his character in Boogie Nights, can't see him in any other type of action movies since :P )...

In the comics he wasn't an important official in the USAF. In the movies he was, which leans me to believe that he wouldn't be a gungho like he was in the comics.

That's what made it weird for me, as I was used to seeing the comic version of Rhodes...

Yeah, it was weird the first time I saw it. But in the movies when you want it to have an at least partial serious tone. You have to bring things in from RL. I think that what we saw was a modern day evolution of the character.

Just watched it tonight, good fun but 3.5/5 only for me. Some really nice bits
Tony Stark drunk at his party and the ensuing battle was a favorite of mine, end of movie battle just didn't have the fun factor for me!
Overall I think the movie could've done with a bit more time for story - not often I say it but it should've been longer
But I can't throw, I throw like a geek!

Worth seeing it in the cinema?
