According to Merriam Webster, a uniform is :
"dress of a distinctive design or fashion worn by members of a particular group and serving as a means of identification ; broadly : distinctive or characteristic clothing."
The stuff Jedi wear certainly seems to fit the bill to me.

Strange how that would work if you see Ani in a black suit and then a Twel'ik in a tube top. Guess Vader got lucky on which uniform they gave him that day...

I much preferred Luke's black suit in ROtJ. Much more practicle that swirling robes IMO

Thanks, Deep. I just got an image of Vader in his classic helmet and mask, tall boots, quilted leggings, and tube top.
