Usually lighter fluid, though we did rig one to use propane.

I find that spray alchohol works best. I'm not sure exactly what type it is though.

Which means as safe as a foot can buy you.

I remember seeing someone making a machine-gun like one. Don't remember if it was the internet or TV I saw it on though.

I'm assuming he accomplished that by multiple barrels. I can't imagine designing a feed system for potatoes.

I have a design somewhere but its really complicated. I'd post it if I could find it.
