DW 31x06: Vampires of Venice

Starts in half an hour.

"Hence it is the directive of Rassilon that any Time Lord who comes upon this enemy of our people and of all living things shall make every effort to destroy him, even at the cost of his own life."

Not bad. I liked the "They're fish from space!" thing. I like how Moffat is using tech he's already introduced earlier in the series again (the perception filter). The ending seemed to lack any real punch, though.

I'll give it 4/5. Solid, but nothing spectacular.

No punch? It was explosive!

One bit I liked was that the Doctor apparently hasn't updated his driver's licence for a millennia or so.

Big giant "meh" from me. Nothing wrong with it, but it just never grabbed me at all. I find thinking back on it that I have only vague memories of it - it's like nothing stood out well enough to register. Eminently forgettable.

Seen worse, but seen better. Giant meh from me, too.
