Timelapse story

Post by Nickswitz »

The story that I plan on writing soon (Timelapse) is based soon after STXI is, in the new time line, sort of... You'll see when you read it, what was the year they were in, I'm looking for lots of accuracy, so I will be posting lots of questions in here.

So, what year was the other timeline in, and what year would the Kelvin type ship be around, because that will be the main type of ship that's used.

The Kelvin was attacked in 2233, Nero attacked the Federation in 2258, and prime timeline Romulus was destroyed in 2387.

Canonically we don't know, and I think it's doubtful that we'll ever even see one again, so you should probably just make one up. Maybe name it after another esteemed scientist like Lord Kelvin? IIRC, even widely accepted class names like "Constitution", "Miranda" and "Oberth" started out as semi-canon or conjectural names.

Ok, I just didn't mention the class yet, But yeah, the ship is a Kelvin like ship. And it takes place 5 years after the Kelvin was attacked.

What would be a good size for an enormous ship but not too huge, it destroyed a Klingon outpost no problem. It has huge amounts of weapons and has an enormous power source, that will all be explained soon though.

And yes, It's a future ship, but the story has little to do with the ship, I just want to have all the information on it good.

Yes, no one likes the Klingons in this universe, lol, but this is actually going after Klingons, well, their borders, its a race I made up, But most of this story will be about the narrator, and won't be in this time line per se. Yes, I basically stole the plot of STXI as the base, the interesting part is really the narrator.

Based on this size how big would you say the enemy ship would be?
