AI plays Mario
This article is pretty awesome and watching the video was pretty nice in explaining how it worked. It's also pretty cool seeing the AI play these games.

Re: Sandia Cooler?
That is quite interesting, however I do believe it will probably be one of those things that never really goes anywhere because of the lack of ability to market it well. I mean heat sinks don't really have much of a market, it's not the first thing that you think of when you think of computers, or e...

Re: Blaster/Lasers/Phaser = Fail
No, they found catching an arrow to be impossible, which is what was being talked about. I thought, although it's always confusing which quotes are pointing to which ideas, haha.

I think Mythbusters found that to be false actually.

Re: Big Bang Theory
Yeah, I've been watching it and have seen all of it. The only thing that I have a problem with is how much a dick many of the character's are in order to be "smart" or "different" such as Raj, who his entire character is either "I am an asshole" or "I can't talk to...

Re: What do you guys think of this <$1000 build?
Well, the nice thing about PCIe3.0 is that it is backwards compatible with 2.0 so if you do get a board with PCIe2.0 you will still be able to use a PCIe3.0 card with it, you just won't get the benefit of the extra speed.

Do not under any circumstances get Viewsonic, they have really bad quality and viewing angles.

It was a SQL error of some sort for the majority of the day. It's weird that it would just fix itself. Do they do that now?

Re: A new random thread
So, I've come to despise people who tell me that if I don't vote that I shouldn't complain about who is making decisions. My lack of voting is a vote in itself, I do not inactively vote, I am not too lazy to vote, I do not believe in the system that has been established by the country to manage or h...

Re: Disney's Wreck-It Ralph
Well that make's a lot of sense. It just seemed to me so much more the style of Pixar than it was Disney, far deeper and interesting than I would expect from Disney.

Re: Disney's Wreck-It Ralph
I saw it and loved it, but it made me realize that Disney may be taking the place of Pixar, I mean, Brave from Pixar was very meh, but Wreck-it-Ralph was a mess of deep meaningful feelings that brought a lot of emotion to mind. It was really great that there were a few plot twists that really genuin...

Re: A new random thread
Yeah, just ends up meaning that I have 0 free time to do anything I really enjoy, but thankfully I get that from my home business where I play with computers and make them work better and faster as a job, hopefully it will take off more in the near future, that would make me extremely happy, as well...

Re: A new random thread
I'm still sort of around, just incredibly busy, full time student, working as a student aide at the campus, as well as working as a lifeguard, and my business which is kind of taking off. So I've been working on getting stable and financially sound. I say this as I have one laptop sitting on my desk...

Re: Music you like.
My new favorite song, Circle in the Square by Flobots. Also am finding Linkin Parks New album LIVING THINGS to be very mind blowing. Although it's mostly a callout against his old label and stupid people who want everything of theirs to sound the same. It's definetly a nice come back after A Thousan...
