Title : The Tholian Web Rating : 1
Writers : Judy Burns, Chet Richards Year : 2268
Review : The Tholian Web was one of my favorite episodes. Until later on, the Tholians we a mystery race, only seen via vauge image that simply gave a crystaline appearance. They were as far as baddie of the week goes, they are one of the few races that stuck with me. The concept of the episode was sound, but the writers seemed a bit off that day. McCoy was acting like a complete putz to Mr. Spock, with no real cause. The whole Tholian Web weapon could have been done better, as was mentioned isn't really a great threat. Perhaps if they spun the webs first, then sent them flying through space to catch a ship, it would have been a bit better. Still, it is one of my overall favorite episodes.
