TOS Images
We'll, over the last few months we have bought a complete set of the TOS Blu-ray disks and I've spent the last month or so rescanning and updating all the TOS images. During this reworking we have increased the size of the images and every case vastly improved the image quality. Our large (wider) pictures are now 800 pixels wide (up from 650), our smaller 'additional species' and 'additional personnel' type images are now 310 pixels wide (up from 280).

We've also taken the opportunity to 'fill in' the missing people people from the episodes. There's a few more people to write up but it's basically complete.

As for the future there are 10 shiny new Blu-ray disks for the films currently winging their way from Amazon as I write, I say 10 as the images for Star Trek XI is already scanned from Blu-ray. Once they're here they will get the same treatment. Now all we need is for TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise to be released on Blu-ray.

No, I'm not announcing the end of anther caption competition. Instead, I'm just announcing that we've taken the cap of the image size on the caption comp pages. This means that you should now be seeing the full size images on these pages for the first time. Enjoy.
