Weapon used by Dominion forces to attack ground targets. In 2373 the Jem'Hadar used ultritium concussion shells to bombard the area around a crashed Dominion ship which Captain Sisko and his officers had taken refuge in. The weapons were never used against the ship itself as the Jem'Hadar did not want to injure a Founder who was hiding aboard. Rather they were used against the ground nearby over a prolonged period in an attempt at psychological warfare. [1]
