A small craft designed to probe the outer layers of a star's atmosphere. The pod was capable of holding two people for trips of a few days duration. The hull was composed of Trinesium, a material capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 18,000 degrees. It was also heavily shielded for additional protection. [3]
