The star Exo began to dim at this time, eventually reducing the surface of Exo III to a frozen wasteland. As the inhabitants moved underground their civilization became more and more mechanized, eventually resulting in the production of Androids thought to be perfect replicas of living beings. Dr. Roger Korby uncovered the last traces of the civilization in the 23rd century. [1]
