A Rigellian Chelon, in 2265 Jetanien was an Ambassador on permanent assignment to the Federation Embassy on Starbase 47 (Vanguard). Widely regarded as a wise and learned statesman who firmly believed in the principles of the United Federation of Planets. He was a good negotiator, and was possessed of a wry sense of humour. He had an extensive knowledge of history, and would occasionally lecture juniors on small but important historical events. [1]
