Universe : Kelvin Timeline
Name : Manas [1]
Species : Humans

Born as Anderson Le, Manas was a Starfleet officer who served aboard the USS Franklin in the 22nd century. He was one of three officers of that ship who survived when it passed through a wormhole and crash-landed on an alien planet. [1]

Like his captain, Manas used the alien technology of the planet to extend his life by draining the life force of aliens, in the process taking on the appearance of his victims. [1]

Manas was a brutal, sadistic man who took pleasure in the murders he committed. He killed Jaylah's parents, and would later taunt her about the act. He attempted to kill Jaylah herself when she and the Enterprise officers raided Krall's camp to rescue their crewmates. Jaylah threw both Manas and herself from a building, counting on her team-mate Kirk to pull off a dramatic rescue by grabbing her in midair and beaming them both to safety. Manas was left behind to fall to his death. [1]
