TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Caretaker [1]
Species : Nacene

A powerful and advanced alien being, the Caretaker once caused a devastating ecological catastrophe on the Ocampa homeworld which destroyed the planet's ability to form rain. Wracked with guilt, he stayed at the planet and supplied the natives with all of their material needs for centuries afterwards. When the Caretaker reached the end of his life he began abducting different species from around the galaxy in an effort to find a compatible match he could produce an offspring with - the starship Voyager was on of his victims. The attempt failed, and the Caretaker died shortly after Voyager's arrival. [1]
