A former protegee of the regent of Palomar, Nassuc betrayed the Regent and led a rebellion against his rule. In response the Regent tried to buy bio-weapons from Hagath to eliminate 28 million of Nassuc's followers; she in turn tried to buy similar weapons from Quark. Quark engineered a meeting between Nassuc, the Regent and Hagath in order to ensure a violent confrontation and the resulting arrest of all three by Odo. [1]
