Armus

TimelineQuotes
Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Armus [1]
Species : Armus

An entity encountered by the Enterprise-D in 2364, Armus claimed that he was created when a species on his planet learned to shed their negative emotions by converting them into a physical form which could be discarded. The specied had long departed the planet, leaving Armus there alone - an action that he bitterly resented. Armus was capable of various feats, including the manipulation of matter and energy, shapeshifting, and interfering with the operation of technology. His personality appeared wholly negative; he was cruel, dishonest, sadistic, and generally unpleasant. This behaviour was motivated by his intense loneliness and self-hatred. Armus attempted to gain pleasure from the crew of the Enterprise-D but was ultimately unsuccessful, and was abandoned on the planet to remain there alone. [1]
