A Starfleet officer, Anderson was a member of the USS Lovell's crew. In 2366 he took part in the ship's efforts to support the New Boulder colony on Gamma Tauri IV. Anderson had blonde hair. Ensign O'Halloran was of the opinion that Anderson spent all of his time thinking about sex, though in his defence Anderson claimed that he also thought about hockey on occasion. [1]

In 2265 Anderson was part of the Lovell's efforts to assist the Federation colony on Gamma Tauri IV. He was badly wounded by Shedai constructs whilst on the planet [1], necessitating the replacement of his right arm by a bionic prosthetic. [2]

In 2266 Anderson was part of the Lovell's mission to Cestus III. [2]
