Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Natasha Yar (Alternate)
Species : Humans

A version of Yar created when the Enterprise-C fell through a temporal rift at the battle of Narendra III. Yar was an experienced Starfleet tactical officer who helped Lieutenant Castillo to prepare for his return to his own time and the ensuing hopeless combat with the Romulan fleet there. The two developed some romantic feelings for one another, and after being told that she was originally supposed to have died a useless death in the original timeline, Yar volunteered to return with Castillo. [1]

She survived the destruction of the Enterprise-C and was captured by the Romulans. A senior Romulan officer found Yar attractive, and took her as his slave. She became pregnant to him and gave birth to a daughter, Sela, a year after her capture. Four years later Yar attempted to escape with her daugher, but Sela, not wanting to be parted from her father, raised the alarm. Tasha Yar was executed for this escape attempt. [1]
