Title : Star Trek: Armada Rating : 4
Platforms : Windows Year : 2000
Review : The game does have a few flaws with it, most notibly scaling as that the Defiant class is about the same size as a Galaxy class. Apart from that, the gameplay is simple, they use some non-canon vessels, mostly for the Romulan, Klingon, Species 8472, due to the few numbers that we have seen very few vessels from them races (these problems appear in Armada II as well) The most, well some will call it, Controversial problem, is the impliment of the Marines for all races, we know of ground troops for others, but they are all called Marines. I hope that this has cleared the waters about this game.

Review : As I mentioned in the review that I made for Armada I this game has a few flaws, that carried over. The greatest advance is in the positioning of starbases, they can be anywhere, and now planets can be colonised, if they can support life, so no colonizing D class planets. This game also has more non-canon vessels, as well as some of the same problems that we know and love from Armada I

Review : Finally, a Star Trek game that allows us who do not want to go blasting Romulans from space. I found this game quite nice, although a little slow and somewhat bad in regards to the "smart AI" as that you find that sometimes colonies will not build anything unless you tell them to build it, but apart from that, it is a good game.

Review : Helm, Hard Right, all phasers Fire at will. finally, you are the captain, you command a Soverign class starship, and it is your mission to investigate and do what Starfleet is trained to do. This game does have a lot of combat, but for realism, as well as the fact of, YOU are the Captain, this makes it a very good game for those of us who do want to sit in that comfy captains chair.
Title : Star Trek: Shattered Universe Rating : 5
Platforms : Play Station 2, Xbox Year : 2004
Review : "I do not care if they are pumpkins, launch everything we have" And thats the cue, you are now the pilot of a Federation Fighter onboard the ISS Excelsior, your job, to help attack the ISS Enterprise. This game is nice for the PS2, definatly not a PC game, the fact that you are flying a Fighter in the Movie era is a bit annoying to some fans, although a little factoid, the Imperial Wraith from this game becomes the Starfleet Command I and II Federation Fighter (I wonder if the Excelsior crew kept that one fighter for starfleet to copy...)

Review : Very good game, I have played this game quite alot, and I love it the interface is a little low, it is more 2d gameplay than 3d, but as a "would a B'rel win against a Miranda" sort of game, it works, same with Starfleet Command I. the idea of the "Interstellar Concordium" a sort of Federation itself that believes that the overwhelming firepower and vastness of their fleet will bring peace, I feel that has been done before in Star Trek.

Review : Orgaians have dissapeared, lets all have a small war. that was the general pretence of this game, however, the plotline is continued in the number 2 game. Generally fly around with your fleet of 3 ships, destroy the enemy, protect convoys from the Orions, nothing much new, all in the time of NCC-1701-A. also a little factoid, the Skin of the Federation CVA and CVA+ says USS Ark Royal NCC-2022.

Review : Helm, about turn, fire photonic torpedoes and phase cannons. ALL this game is, and I mean all this game is, more and more combat, you are thrown litterally in the first mission into combat. This game does break a lot of canon, as did ENT, and quite frankly this is terrible, the whole storyline is one of the ideas that was made to explain the Borg, and V'Ger, utterly pointless.
Title : Star Trek: Starfleet Command III Rating : 4
Platforms : Windows Year : 2002
Review : This game has the Klingons and the Federation working together to make the Unity starbase, lets all be happy. Oh bother, the Romulans have blown it up. This game has got a few minor flaws, but is very realistic, in the Federation campagin you start off in a little Norway, now, you can customise your ship to a degree, but not much, athough a Sovereign class with forwards mounted pulse phasers, interesting in combat.
Title : Star Trek: Away Team Rating : 2
Platforms : Windows Year : 2001
Review : If you love Section 31, then this is the game for you. You are the commander of a small Defiant sized vessel, your job is command small squads on planets to do quiet clanestine operations, quite litterally "You are caught, no one will rescue you, you die, no one knows you"
Title : Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force Rating : 4
Platforms : Macintosh, Play Station 2, Windows Year : 2000
Review : While in the Delta Quadrent, we realised that we needed a heavy assault team, a Hazard Team. Moving speach by Janeway, the Graphics are a little bad, but its built off the Quake engine. I have to admit, if you do not carry marines onboard, the idea of a Hazard team, a group of specialist Security officers that are trained to work as a team, and work together in hostile situations, now that is what is needed, it would have stopped Kirk, or caused less redshirt deaths.

Platforms : Macintosh, Windows Year : 2003
Review : "Starfleet does not need a group of renegades that do not follow policy" Picard "You are not on the front lines, we need this team, Mr Munro, report to the Enerprise" so you are back as Murno, incharge of the Hazard Team again, this time on the USS Enterprise, and your duty, to carry on doing your on the edge of policy training, and to go into areas that Kirk would have send many a redshirt to death, beamed down himself and then got his shirt ripped, and won with phaser power alone. with new Weaponary, a Klingon, and the Enterprise, you feel right at home.
Title : Star Trek: Generations Rating : 3
Platforms : Windows Year : 1997
Review : some problems, we already see what happens in the film, this tries to extend it, and I did not like it, the gameplay was basic, but if you were not quick enough you lost, the fact of that missions changed each time was nice, but it was not a good game if you want to keep canon.
Title : Star Trek Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates Rating : 4
Platforms : PSP, Windows Year : 2001
Review : Same as Starfleet Command II: Empires at War (this was the second of the two SFC: II games). all you do in this game is fly as Federation or Klingon and get rid of them pesky pirates that are attacking your stations and convoys.
Title : Star Trek: Starfleet Academy (video game) Rating : 1
Platforms : Macintosh, Sega Mega Drive, Super NES, Windows Year : 1994
Review : A mix of Live action Video and computer gameplay, this game did try to give you a 3d feel, but for the fact of that it is called "Starfleet Academy" all you do is play a cadet in trying to keep his "crew" together while they try to survive in the academy, the missions are simulated, but really, its dull.
Title : Star Trek: New Worlds Rating : 4
Platforms : Windows Year : 2000
Review : I do love the features, and the fact of that you are incharge of a colony, its more of a "Command and Conquer" style game than the normal space combat games that we know from Star Trek. I would prefer if it had more options, a non-war mode that allows you to build the colonies bigger, but the problem with the graphics and that it no longer works on XP Pro (well my version anyway) it lacks, I would love to see a mod or even a "New Worlds II" made by fans or an offical game company.
