great question, the best way to test it...sign up for one of the DITL Battles, get someone to go against you.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Probably the Negh'var. The War-GCS is strong, but when alls said and done its only a refitted GCS, while the Negh'var has a couple of a heavy cannon that could punch through DS9's shields in a few shots (albeit after a preliminary bombardment).

On the other hand those same cannons seem to be rather limited in their firing arcs. Now if we assume that the War-GCS is more maneuvrable and manages to stay out of the front arc they should be able to do some real hurt.

For me, I wouldn't bet on either one, to many unknowns. Noone knows how good a WAR-GCS really is and most of the Negh'vars I have seen are part of an mirror/alternative universe. Hitting DS9 was impressive to watch but my first impression was always that at this point the shields of the station were already pretty weak.

I don't have the DS9 TM, does it have an entry on the Negh'var?

"More maneuverable" is a relative term. It doesn't mean that the war-GCS could turn like a fighter. Avoiding the primary weapon of a fellow cap ship in three-dimensional space is, I believe, harder than some would make it out.

Especially if the Negvar stays still and just rotates. I use this tactic a lot on BC, staying still to hit a faster vessel.

You may be right of course. Nevertheless we hardly see how the Negh'var compares to contemporary ships so it is rather hard to predict an outcome. I too am leaning towards the Negh'var but I am far from sure.

I wouldn't quite go that far; given some luck, and if it were able to stay out of the line of fire of the big guns (which is a big if), the war-GCS could do some serious damage. It would certainly be at a serious disadvantage though.

This has got to be one of the only fights where a GCS has the edge in agility...

Certainly is a unique circumstance when it comes to the GCS. She is somewhat a wallowing giant spaceduck of a ship.

But in this case it is an important edge,\ considering the majority of the Klingon fire power is foward facing.

Which is why I never really liked the Negh'Var. It doesn't fit with Klingon "Frontal attack run" mentality. It's too slow and cumbersome to be used like Klingon ships are used.

I dont mind it to much since there are only a few of them and they seem to only be used in fleet actions where it could shine.
