What anime series do you watch?

No joke, Mikey! And here I thought Japan would be a nice place to take a vacation! I think I'll stick to Disneyland, not the one in Japan, but in Anaheim. Disneyland ROCKS!

Never been, but DisneyWorld is pretty damn cool. Despite Walt Disney's influence, they still let my people in.

Hmm. Been wondering how you guys feel about this.

Do you guys consider Anime to be a style of drawing, or just animations that come from Japan? Anime, is after all, just a japanese word. Its kinda like saying that all french style animations are dessin animÃ©, french for cartoons. Still, it is a VERY distinctive style... and it does seem to have universal themes, too. hrm.

I'd agree with that, plus the fact that it seems to generally revolve around one of a few definite themes.

A style and theme. Batman: TAS and Transformers G1 had their animation done in Japan, but I wouldn't call them anime.

True but I believe the original concept was a derivative of Manga. But some anime are produced straight off the drawing board

I'd call them anime styled, with a Western script writing team.
Anime is a style of animation, not scriptwriting.
