The duraglass of star wars is suppose to be just as strong as durasteel. I suppose its harder to make and that's why you don't see a ship completely fill of duraglass.

You should write up a story about its creation on the fanfic section of the forums, put some background into it. I really like the design. I still think its front should curve into two points just to look meanier but that's me. I think its one of the cooler designs I've seen.

I thought the Xindi Aquatics stole their original technology from other species. Its obvious that they were tool users since they have hands so maybe Primates or Aborials helped jump start the Aquatic sciences to the point where they could take over.
