 [1] The Enterprise-D investigates a "time slip" phenomenon, tracking a distress call to the Vandor system, location of the laboratory of Dr. Manheim. Manheim's experiments on time caused the time slips when an accident caused an explosion in his laboratory. The Enterprise crew are able to repair the damage. In the process, Jean-Luc Picard reconnects with an old romantic interest, now Manheim's wife. [1]
