The scene where the Borg Queen, who has only a top half, is crawling towards Agnes was very creepy. Especially with an episode title of Assimilation.

Interestingly, this time travel episode is directed by none other than Lea Thompson, who played Lorraine Baines-McFly, Marty McFly's mother, in "Back to the Future".
Plotline
With Elnor seriously wounded and the team held at gunpoint by the Confederation Magistrate, and his soldiers, they are forced to give up their weapons. Seven of Nine attempts to convince the Magistrate, who in this reality is married to Seven, that she is who she is pretending to be, but, when she is unable to give her husband's own name the ruse is up. Seven's delays have given the crew enough time to get into position to overcome the soldiers and the Magistrate who are then killed.
With Elnor in a critical condition and Confederation ships advancing on their position they urgently need to get ready for time travel. Agnes prepares the Borg queen but she escapes her containment pod, moving towards Agnes, who fears the worst. The Queen, not wishing to be trapped in this reality any more than they do, continues with their plan to escape and connects herself up to the ship. A running battle ensues and the La Sirena destroys three Confederation ships, a Steamrunner and two Nova class. They escape to the sun and travel back to 2024.
On arrival, the ship is out of control and is going to crash on Earth, Picard aims it at his chateau, which he knows will be unoccupied in this time period. They crashland there and take stock. The Borg Queen says that they must find someone called "The Watcher", who holds the information they require to fix the timeline. The Borg Queen diverts all power from the ship to sustain herself. Elnor dies from his wounds and is put into statis. Raffi blames Picard for his death but agrees to help fix the timeline, in the hope that it will bring back Elnor.
With minimal power the transporters are not working well. Raffi, Seven and Rios beam to Los Angeles, where they believe "The Watcher" can be found. Rios's transport fails and he is deposited ten foot above ground level falling and hitting his head on a fire escape. He is taken to a clinic for undocumented immigrants and meets Teresa Ramirez and her son Ricardo. Before he can leave Rios and Teresa are arrested and taken away by ICE. Unfortunately, Rios's communicator is left behind at the clinic.
Back at the ship, Agnes connects to the mind of the Borg Queen in order to extract information on "The Watcher". The Queen attempts to assimilate Agnes but she is able to fight back and trick the Queen. The Queen is very impressed by Agnes's trick, which she says is a very dangerous situation for Agnes to have put herself in.
