A couple of uniform errors; Chapel is shown with a black collar on her uniform, and Spock is shown with his insignia on the wrong side.
Factoid :
The Caretaker's tombstone says that he died in the 7009th year of operation.

My year for this episode is estimated from the Stardate; it is one of a group of TAS episodes set between 'For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky' and 'Is There in Truth no Beauty?'

Plotline

Arriving at the "amusement park" planet for some R&R, the Enterprise finds that the planet's Caretaker has died. Without supervision the machinery has begun focusing on dangerous images from the visitor's thoughts...

Analysis

It's unfortunate that the animated series once again chose to re-hash a TOS episode rather than do something original. That said, this does put a different twist on the original and so creates a somewhat darker story.
